I do love to take photographs, wherever I go, and turn some of them into photo art. Being home most of the time, I find myself taking lots of pictures of the surrounding neighborhood. The broad range of weather conditions makes this not so boring as it might otherwise be.
During this holiday period (Nov.-Dec. 2008), we have had lots of snow: more than at any time since the winter of 1996-1997, when we got 114 inches and experienced terrible flooding.
New Year’s Day 2009 started out dark and cloudy, but by mid-morning, the sun came out, making it look much warmer than it really was.
