I have been writing poetry for most of my life, but in August of 2008 (on the last possible day) I entered some of my poetry in a poetry contest for the first time. I was pleased that one of the three, “Future Freedom,” was chosen as a favorite by one of the four judges and included in the SFPA’s poetry contest chapbook.

Since 2006 I have made audio files of my poems from the 2006-20011 SFPA On-line Halloween Poetry Reading pages; some were chosen from a list of my personal favorites. I hope to add to the available MP3s over the years.

“Endings” was nominated for a 2010 Rhysling Award and was published in the 2010 Rhysling Anthology; it also was selected for inclusion in the 2010 Dwarf Stars chapbook (best SF poems of 10 lines or fewer published in 2009).
